Behold, an opportunity to gather.
Welcome to Somnia's fifth ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THIS APP ROUND: With September marking the start of the game's second arc, there will be a setting shift and thus we'll be skipping a TDM/app round for that month to better situate our current players. With that said, our next app round after this one will only being in October, so I've decided to uncap the game and thus the number of apps coming in this round and going forward (at least until where I feel like I can handle it).
IN SUMMARY, If you have interest in apping, now might be a good time if you do not wish to wait three months for the next round, or risk the game getting capped again!

- EVENT/TDM: June 1stAn opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision to send an invite (note that this does not guarantee one). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Brief Info: The best bard the continent has ever known, member of Geralt's stalwart crew of loyal allies on his quest to save his child surprise, Ciri (and also Geralt's bestie).

Or well I hope to be. I'll still be in my busy period at work when the TDM goes up but hopefully it should be in the tail end of it and at most another week, week and a half by then. So asking to be enabled is a bit of a misnomer as I'm going to try regardless!!
I'm going to see about bringing Jaskier back finally and using this as an excuse to update him to the end of S4 now as well. With that in mind - I'm considering swapping his vessel type. The pyromancer thing was because he'd been freshly tortured by a fire mage before and I'm awful that way, but by end of S4 enough time has passed for him to be mostly over it. Now he's made good with Geralt once more, had his own messy divorce, and is returning generally mentally better off even with the "Well I think I just started someone's villain arc, oops" β though with a fresh head injury for the trouble.
I had considered Satyr for him in the past and am circling back to it again, but am open to ideas and/or suggestions for anyone who may know a vessel type better tied to music as the game has progressed.

I do love the idea of changing his vessel type; so far Lortel is the only character it's happened to so she'd probably be like oh thank god it's not just me. Give the nerds another data point to contemplate.

personally i think satyr would be an awesome pick for him from everything i know about him, or maybe trickster? he feels very satyr coded to me from my impression of canon tbh

Yeah, his very first quest with Geralt involved a sylvian (which is a satyr/faun in the witcher world) soooo its still got that lore connection for him too! Also let's face it his outfit looks match...
