Welcome to Somnia's fifth ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THIS APP ROUND: With September marking the start of the game's second arc, there will be a setting shift and thus we'll be skipping a TDM/app round for that month to better situate our current players. With that said, our next app round after this one will only being in October, so I've decided to uncap the game and thus the number of apps coming in this round and going forward (at least until where I feel like I can handle it).

IN SUMMARY, If you have interest in apping, now might be a good time if you do not wish to wait three months for the next round, or risk the game getting capped again!



Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: June 1st
- RESERVES: June 12th
- APPS: June 19th - 24th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision to send an invite (note that this does not guarantee one). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

YOU SEE MY EXACT DILEMMA!! The gender is delicious but I think I will ultimately go with his actual pre-death fucked up body; something kintsugi-like was absolutely what I was thinking (though probably even more gruesome and fucked up, hehe). (AND YEEESSSSS THANK YOU it wasn't intentional but the more I think about it I'm like. nah man that's gotta be it. Horribly Pal is like, incredibly blasse about blowing himself up so this is just gonna end up even more stressful for Camilla I think jgfg.)

(and I am super down for Cam/Pal!! Cam/Pal/Dulcie has my fucking HEART in a vice but obviously in lieu of Dulcie being here they still have each other to depend on and share memories of her. <3)

Hehehe yeeeesss. if you get too wiped out from vacation it would definitely also be fun to have one of them there before the other so now it's like oh my god, it's real, I think I'd never see you again, time to be even more clingy!!

Gruesome and Fucked Up seems right for….i mean, both contexts really.
(Haha, it’s not — ok maybe it’s a little horrible?? but it’s UNDERSTANDABLE that he’s not that bothered by his own death, under the circumstances. Even Cam isn’t exactly upset about the decision itself, I think. … I love [writing/reading/playing] them trying to cope with all that together because both, especially Cam, are so logical and decisive but nothing in those feelings gives a single fuck.)

Awesome! And tbqh Cam/Pal/Dulcie has MY entire heart too, totally my
endgame and has been since basically book one. (That hesitant “will she
recognize us”! …all of TUG! The three strands! TM you are under arrest.) We’re 100% on the same page there.

That IS true — I’m almost a little like, in TD we should prolly throw themtogether in the LAST part of whatever’s going on because the angst is fun!

But…also I’m not going to say no to someone not having to wait until
October :P

(Just to be transparent, I realize playing multiple characters can be a lot even with relatively low AC, and I would be psyched to play with either.

No that's good that means the theories that they DIDN'T strike out and agree on stand up to rigorous academic scrutiny, excellent work.

IT CAN FIT SO MUCH GENDER IN THIS THING listen I am firmly of the opinion that Sixth House nerds Especially are peak "yeah I'm probably non-binary/genderfluid/whatever but I have a Job and shit to do," nowhere is this most true than during ntn tbh.
(yeeesss like they're pretty emotionally intelligent compared to other tlt characters (which is a low bar admittedly-) but even then it's like oh here's this constant reminder of fucked up things are and with slightly less stuff happening in the immediacy those thoughts and feelings are sure gonna show up Anyway!
