[ noah blinks, wide-eyed and baffled. ]
That's . . . quite the dream.
I'm not sure I have one, really.
[ he has the shattered remains of one, met at the end. but. even so. he did pass the torch. his actions
did
matter. it's just . . . hard. to think past it still. to think beyond.
maybe he hasn't come as far as he thinks he has. ]
