[Sunny has only ever been called "a mute" in that nasty way that kids call each other things that they shouldn't. Granted, he hasn't seen much of anyone the last several years, so...that isn't necessarily a problem he runs into much anymore. Regardless, he doesn't think Jinx is being unkind. She's talking about her own kid, and her question seems to have good intentions. He's afraid he'll disappoint her, however.
