Welcome to Somnia's second ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: September 1st
- RESERVES: September 12th
- APPS: September 16th - 23rd

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Admittedly I have not seen Twin Peaks or kept up with the MCU, BUT that actor looks like a certain someone my guy is very interested in catching up with for very important reasons.

Hiii I saw Howard on the taken list and thought it would be particularly fun to bring one of ‘em in. Cooper is so fragmented there’s a chance he could be Hank, somewgere in there, but he'd really want to help either way. He's also been fucking with American history so lmao. What if he thought he caused the fallout world timeline divergence? Just for a sec? A real opportunity for peak confusion here.

Cal would connect to Howard on the level of 'terribly missing my cool and frightening wife who was smarter than me.' And becoming a monster to survive.

(Disclaimer: I also don’t keep up with marvel, AoS was the one thing I got into with a friend. Which is perfect for playing Cal because he has No Fucking Idea what’s going on. He’s just Some Guy who happens to have this incredibly dark backstory. The one plot thread he was connected to was dropped entirely. I just think that’s kinda funny.)

u.u don't worry Dale, the nuclear fallout wasn't you fault bud. Also I am a simple silly bitch and just spiderman pointing at Cooper first name and Cooper last name!

And man Cooper has such conflicted feelings about his wife, like it's been centuries and I feel at this point in his life he'd have a lot of bitterness, but also yeah yeah he misses when life wasn't a shit show. When it was good and he was blind to what was going on, but he could never go back to that. Woe! But still, heck yeah becoming a monster to survive is so good!

Right! I kinda think Cooper's name is a stealth reference to Dale, two guys named Cooper with iconic thumbs ups feels very suspect especially with how iconic Twin Peaks' nuclear bomb imagery is.

I love Janey, looove having the messiest complex feelings about your old life. Love pining for what you can never be again. Fallout prime fed me so good.

Man I wish so bad we had gotten more flashbacks with Cooper and Janey, the opening of the show hit so good and so hard. Me like I've known Janey for five seconds and if anything happens to her I'll- oh that's multiple bombs going off, whelp. BUT YEAH like I did not expect much going into the show, but they did such a great job!

I looove Maximus and Lucy but the pre-war flashbacks were definitely my favorite part of the show. They’re just so well executed, beautiful sets, the communist thriller plot. Like mhhhm!! This is a side of fallout we just don’t get to see.
