Behold, an opportunity to gather.

Welcome to Somnia's second ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: September 1st
- RESERVES: September 12th
- APPS: September 16th - 23rd

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Brief Info: (trying to avoid show spoilers!)

Priestess of the Guardians of Truth, who believe in the Chosen One, a flame-headed hero who will save the world from a disease called the Malaise. She was imprisoned for her beliefs (and for soliciting where she wasn't wanted, oops) and found said hero...thus finding out he was a complete moron. Not only that, but he was an immortal who couldn't die and thus was completely uninterested in saving the world.

So, what was a Guardian of Truth to do? She lied to him.

She's optimistic, full of her own faith (though not immune to doubting herself), resourceful and supportive. Laure manages to see things through, and yet...also ends up with more than she ever expected.

Vessel Type & General ideas: Offering: Golem. Between the mechanical hand she was already given by an ugly alchemist, and the weight of her own guilt, that seemed like the most obvious choice. There's also a good degree of fear of turning into something monstrous courtesy of the Malaise, so that can prey on her psyche.

Oh no, another person wrangling a Chosen One to save their world from a plague. This story sounds familiar...

Ignis would LOVE to compare notes with a fellow wrangler! :-D

Laure would be delighted, and yet hopeful that Ignis' Chosen One was more intelligent than Flameface...because he was dumber than a box of rocks...

LOL! I think Noctis is usually better than that, but he is a 20-year-old young man and you KNOW how they can be! The acting comes before the thinking sometimes.

Especially if and when hormones are involved...though with Flameface, it was usually beer...

Thank goodness drinking is not an issue with Noctis. Hormones? That's the one you have to watch out for on occasion.

That'll be a new experience for Laure, for sure. She was kind of an outcast at home!

Guardians of Truth? Sounds like a way better religion than what Ash grew up in. But she knows a thing or two about chosen one's not being all they're cracked up to be. They can be guilt buddies.

I feel like these two would get along swimmingly.
