Welcome to Somnia's second ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: September 1st
- RESERVES: September 12th
- APPS: September 16th - 23rd

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

oh, do you play the Various Voices in his mind as like. supernatural in origin? like i could definitely see no longer human canceling out smth like shivers but not necessarily say, logic or drama or electrochemistry, since to my understanding all that's just a result of his uh. mental break from all the drinking lkjslkdf

that said since he's an illusionist in the game proper he could def give harry quiet brain time by just like tossing a mental blanket on all the brain voices!!

but yeah i am super interested in the idea of cr between them bc they have VERY similar themes going on. this version of dazai is a canon au of another unorthodox suicidal detective who also happens to be like. simultaneously a widower and the most divorced ever LOL and i feel like harry would appreciate a wild Timelines situation like that.

Technically multiple skills have a supernatural edge, there’s shivers, but also inland empire, empathy, and espirit de corps regularly crossing the threshold into mind reading etc. So being able to quiet down just some of his brain for a bit would be nice T_T since I imagine his ability to hear the world is going to go topsy turvy here

That is VERY fun…we love detectives who are chronically divorced. And Harry is arriving feeling very bitter about his job in particular, very disillusioned with the RCM and feeling like he wasted his life.
