Welcome to Somnia's second ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: September 1st
- RESERVES: September 12th
- APPS: September 16th - 23rd

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

I wrote to the June EMP but life happened and I didn't get a chance to app (yet). Petra here is from a sci-fi video game and is a soldier (think Special Ops) and a pilot. Her canon point is several millennia later than his, but it could certainly be interesting swapping war/pilot stories, if you were interested.

Sorry to get back to this so late, work spent this week absolutely beating my ass! I will be looking to see if you TL when the TDM goes up and hope you do! Freddie is really, really into like, mechanics, aeronautics, etc, so he'd be super interested to hear about what his very own job is like so far into the future, and I think it would be interesting for him to meet someone from a time when (presumably) female pilots are no longer a tiny minority and to have to process that (left-leaning politics saying 'that's good' vs a slight discomfort with the idea of a very monogendered space suddenly being more diverse). Looking over the EMP you linked she definitely seems like someone he would find engaging to talk to. Hope to see you around!
