Behold, an opportunity to gather.

Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: December 1st
- RESERVES: December 12th
- APPS: December 19th - 25th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Name: Murphy Pendleton
Canon: Silent Hill: Downpour
Brief Info: Murphy gets dragged into Silent Hill not because of his own trauma but because of someone else's. He's living through someone else's bad no-good time and just trying to leave. One of the few protagonists that has already made peace with the terrible things he's done. A mechanic sent to prison and did a murder while in prison.

He seems pretty >| a lot of the time but isn't all that heartless. He has a soft spot for those younger than him and wants them to be all right. Murphy keeps his distance from others as he fears they'll call him out on being an escapee from prison; however, he won't really have that issue coming here. So he'll be less on edge about that and more on edge about being in another fucked-up place.

Vessel Type & General ideas: Merrow. He got that water theme going on with him.

As with Maria above, has there been a more seamless Sleephattan xOver than with Silent Hill, I think not.

I am glad to figure the space out with Yuuto to make room for the second okayest dad of Silent Hill. The best dad and protag will always be Harry. Nods.

Harry is indeed the best dad but come on Murphy comes in such a close second. We love a dad who avenges his child here!

Harry is also deep in the Sleep sauce so he’s probably gonna be a bit more offputting than usual but he’s got a good heart. Honestly if Murphy is like can you not talk about your god that’s freaking me out etc he'll stop.

yeah murph is gonna be like /smack stop that. while yuuto is like i agree but i'm also curious so i'm conflicted but will attempt to sound reasonable. LMAO. at least i can now say like murph is more of a voice of reason for harry.

Right 😭 he’s preoccupied! Harry thinks the being a monster stuff is just great so having a different perspective would be good for him.
