Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: December 1st
- RESERVES: December 12th
- APPS: December 19th - 25th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Name: Aelita - Maybe Aelita Stones/Hopper/Schaeffer after a canon update
Canon: Code lyoko. I'm going with the cartoon version and ignoring the novels and evolution for the most part unless it's the fill in gaps.
Brief Info: WOO BOY
So leaning with season 1 canon point then updating later. So Aelita at this point thinks she's an AI, and until being in game she didn't have a physical body. So that'll be a whole lot of sensory overload for her.

Personality-wise Aelita's a nice, helpful girl, who can be a bit snarky at times. She curious about the world, kinda wants to see it but-
cw:suicide(of the passive variety) However she has zero self-esteem. Because she thinks she's an AI, she thinks her life is inherently worth less than humans. So there's multiple times where she pleads with the characters to stop endangering themselves to help her.

OH, she's also surprisingly okay with blowing shit up. Her and her boyfriend commit multiple acts of terrorism.

Then for possible updates (also code lyoko spoilers...for a 20 year old cartoon lmao)
- she learns that she was a real girl all along and her seemingly mad scientist dad just put her in a computer and vanished???
-ACTUALLY NO. He ran away with her there for their safety from the MiB
-She's spent 11 years frozen in time in this computer and her whole life before that is gone
-btw her other memories involve the MiB trying to take her, but getting her mom instead
-Then her dad gets murdered in front of her...but it's okay because the bad guy also died ig ;-;

Vessel Type & General ideas:
I'm leaning towards lightweaver. Because Aelita's powers in canon involve energy manipulation and it seems like a good balance. Her other power is environment manipulation but I can't choose a set element of that. She also has light wings that might be a form of the energy manipulation. Though she tends to get absolutely annihilated while using them.

Though I'm considering valkerie and seraph because she has an angel theme going on. Maybe chronomaster for the frozen in time elements and the computer she's in can rewind time.
