Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: December 1st
- RESERVES: December 12th
- APPS: December 19th - 25th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Canon: Wednesday (Netflix)
Brief Info: Cynical, sarcastic, deadpan, and sardonic, Wednesday is a morbid and headstrong teenager. She's extremely blunt, doesn't waste time with socializing very often, can be cruel, and is excessively independent. She's got the capacity to care about people but it's in her own very selfish and fucked up way. Has a tendency to become obsessed with something and throw herself into it with disregard for how it might hurt her or anyone else in her path.
Vessel Type & General ideas: I am not entirely sure, but Token illusionist sems like it'd probably be decent for her and a lot of fun to play with. Though I do have a weakness for blood magic and bloodwright sounds fun too. I'm bad at decision making.
But the idea of having to actually seek out help more often is very appealing. She's arrogant and getting put through so much where she's got 0 control over the situation could be interesting to explore.

Name: Rumi
Canon: KPop Demon Hunters
Brief Info: Kind person who has been forced to hide the truth of what she is (part demon) from her only friends and the world. She's got a great facade of being confident, charismatic, cheerful, and hardworking going on while inside she's slowly falling apart under the weight of all the responsibilities put on her. Puts everyone (and the world) first while hiding any sort of vulnerabilities behind a wall of perfectionism.
Vessel Type & General ideas: Offering daemon
Because it's funny and would be horrible. Being what she hates even MORE obvious on the outside as well as potentially delving into making pacts and things demons do that she hates? that'd be interesting to dig into.

Oh maaaan, they both sound great. Wednesday would be funny because she would find most horror things enjoyable or think it's not so bad.

And we can never have too much kind people here. And there are a few characters here already who are singers and musicians. So jam fest with rumi lmao.

She definitely find a lot of this stuff to just be interesting and potentially fun. Until it fucked with the her too much lmfao also Jinx and Wednesday cr sounds potentially cool!!

The perfect kind of friends! They can go people watching and judge. Maybe consider how they could kidnap and torture those they judge as they pass by. A decent day out

I think either would do super well here, Meghann, but I'm pretty partial to your Wednesday. I want Sharon to have her spooky, grumpy friend, ok. I think either character would thrive in the setting, though, and both have a ton of fun potential!

I'm leaning more towards Wednesday because I miss playing her =( and I really miss her and Sharon's friendship! Feels like it would be interesting to see how it'd go in a setting like this!

I'll probably be apping someone else first for this app period and apping Abaddon the next but I plan on bringing in this guy, an ancient demon stuck in the body of a 7-year-old boy from the 1700s. I'd love to toss him at Wednesday.

He's got a kind of grandiose way of speaking, is also pretty morbid (he used to torture damned souls after all), and would fit in well as part of the Addams family. "Oh, that's cousin Abaddon, he's an an ancient demon possessing a child from the 1700s" is absolutely someone that would show up at an Addams family reunion.

He's also got a weird way of bonding with people. On the one hand, he can be capable of doing a lot of work and sacrifice to protect people he cares about. On the other hand, he leaves coins in their mouths at night for the ferryman.

The question is whether they'd get along, try to occasionally maim each other, or try to occasionally maim each other because they're getting along.

All three haha Either way it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun as cr.

She'd definitely find something twisted and hilarious about the irony of a demon in the body of someone that looks like a Puritan. That's just fantastic.

I really want to check out this canon now

Wednesday would be an absolutely amazing addition to the teen squad here, but honestly, I'd love either of them! Megumi's in the exorcism/demon-murdering business with some messy family legacy, so I think there's wiggle room to find common ground either way.

She would be 100% uninterested in joining the teen squad but I would absolutely love her to. Honestly, having Wednesday potentially talk about her own family issues with the Legacy aspect of her family with someone would be a very interesting route to take.
