Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: December 1st
- RESERVES: December 12th
- APPS: December 19th - 25th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Brief Info: Silco is a hardworking single father, well-respected in his community, and an entrepreneur. He looks out for the people of Zaun, dedicated to independence and self-determination, and provides much needed jobs to his impoverished city. #ZaunStrong #BeYourOwnBoss #GirlDad

...Silco was a seperatist revolutionary until things went bad and Vander tried to kill him. After that, he became the undercity's foremost chem-baron, selling Shimmer throughout Zaun and ruling the underworld with casual brutality. After Vander's apparent death (which Silco was responsible for, naturally), he took in Jinx, who became his adopted daughter. Despite his very shady tactics, Silco remained dedicated to the idea of Zaun's independence, which ultimately played a part in his downfall. Well, that and Jinx's instability, but hey, who's keeping score? That's his precious daughter you're talking about.

Vessel Type & General ideas: Offering, I think, either Wraith or Merrow. Silco already looks like a weird fucked up little man, why not lean into it? Without Zaun, a good portion of his driving force and all of his power is gone, but with Jinx around he'd have some motivation - and if nothing else, Silco's good at surviving. He'd want to build a power base for himself, and he has no compunctions about doing so via lying, stealing, and murder. :D

Just kidding, Silco is going to go through many stages of What The Fuck and probably end on Maybe I Just Need To Kill Him Again Before He Kills Me. It's totally healthy and fine and everything will be ok.

Aww, Vander probably won't try to kill him, just... have very, very, very intense conversations. But I do expect someone (Vander) is likely to be stabbed as they bicker.

What canon point are you thinking of taking Silco from?

Silco will definitely assume that Vander will want to kill him (because... well, that's what he'd do) and will NOT be prepared for intense conversations instead. There may indeed be stabbing. Hopefully not the fatal kind.

I haven't totally decided yet, but I'm thinking about taking him from his very last moments alive. I really like the idea of him knowing that Jinx was the one who killed him, and still caring for her despite that - I think it puts him in a good place to at least be somewhat willing to make more bonds, instead of being completely guarded. But we'll see!

There will be SO much drama, I have no doubt. And I would love to see them interact. I think Silco probably would land somewhere in the realm of 'why do we let Piltover take our best, you should have been working for me' BUT WHO KNOWS

I would honestly love Viktor being dragged down that path of thought! Jinx has already badmouthed him for leaving the undercity, and I do so love thinking about timelines when Viktor went to work for Silco. The things they could have accomplished!

Right! Silco doesn't know about any of the... you know... cult leader transfiguration mind control stuff... but that would probably just make him more interested. All that lost potential! With a little more guidance, just think what Viktor could have been capable of. And Silco, naturally, would be happy to provide that guidance.

im very excited to see how everyone is going to bounce off of each other. especially with their new abilities/changes and their location!

oh yeah, I forgot to mention that jinx is a token / aquamancer. if you have seen steven universe, she is pretty much a knock off version of lapis luzli except her skin isn't entirely blue yet.

and in the dreamscape only, the hex gemstone is fused onto her back. and her water can heal people and cleanse corruption. this also means her tears, her sweat, and her saliva. so in a way, she is kinda like a walking and breathing shimmer (if shimmer was taken in small doses, of course).

*From a city split in two by a river where one half lives in luxury and the other in extreme poverty, grew up in the aftermath of a failed communist revolution. Everything is shit.

omg I never thought about it but Harry really IS Worse Vander. Well, if he would like to be manipulated and used by someone with very shady motives, I've got the guy for you!

Yeah, I’ve found he slots really well into arcane crosscanon CR. He's like a doll missing his set but he’s in scale with the arcane dollhouse and figures so it works out.

He LOVES being manipulated, he'll do anything for approval. He’s a bit of a loose canon atm because he’s bound himself to Sleep and he’s a writhing monster but his instinct to imprint like a duckling on others is Very intact.
