Behold, an opportunity to gather.
Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

- EVENT/TDM: December 1stAn opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Name: Cheng Xiaoshi

Brief Info: Cheng Xiaoshi is a twenty-one year old man who owns and runs a small photography shop with two of his friends called, "Time Photo Studio." While they put up a front as a legitimate photography business on the outside, they have a side hustle where they can help clients by diving into photos and observing the past surrounding that photo. Cheng Xiaoshi has the ability to go back in time by using a photo, possessing the body of the photographer. And his best friend Lu Guang has the ability to observe the photos within a twelve hour span. Together, they take on cases and fulfil the customer's wishes.
Cheng Xiaoshi is a laidback, reckless type of person who is much too empathetic for his own good. He cares about helping people, even if it might be risky to do so. He's headstrong, has a short attention span and is bratty/childish sometimes but at the end of the day he is very clever, kind-hearted and genuine. He's also very sensitive (he WILL cry) and has some issues with abandonment and being alone. Which makes him very protective and a little clingy over his two best friends. He's a basketball jock and is a bit of an idiot and boyfailure too but he can be cool!!
Vessel Type & General ideas:
Definitely leaning towards making him an offering with a couple of choices:
πΈ Lycan - He's often compared to a being a dog type so this might suit him. Cheng Xiaoshi is already very reckless so why not make it harder to deal with restraint!
πΈ Drake - I like the idea that they are instinctively protective and territorial which would be fun to mix with Cheng Xiaoshi's tendency to hate abandonment and be clingy.
πΈ I'm very new to playing this character so I'm just happy to be able to try it out and see what kind of cr I can get to stick for him! I think he would vibe well with all sorts of cr since he's fairly extroverted and social.
πΈ Just very interested in exploring pushing some of his boundaries and how he deals with this setting.

Name: Midoriya Izuku
Canon: My Hero Academia
Brief Info: Izuku a the sixteen (almost seventeen) year old student at U.A High School who is learning and training to be the best hero in the world. In a world where almost everyone has some sort of superpower called a "quirk," Izuku is one that was born quirkless and has struggled all his life to prove that he can be a hero too. He's later given the power of his mentor, has a powerful inherited quirk, and is rising up to be one of the best heroes the world has ever seen.
He is often seen as a mumbling nerd with a sweet disposition. He's agreeable, kind-hearted and awkward. A giant nerd that will mutter your ear off about his likes and passions if you lend him an ear. Underneath is a boy who has always dealt with being weaker than everyone else and always having to catch up faster. He's extremely determined to prove himself, has always worked on his confidence and strength and is extremely giving, smart, and true. He also happens to be extremely crazy when anyone is in danger, going to insane length to save people even if he busts up his own body. Don't let the sweet smile always fool you, he's also insane.
Vessel Type & General ideas:
I'm torn between both offering and token so here are a few options I'm thinking about for Izuku:
π₯¦ Seraph - Might just be fun to make Izuku go full biblically accurate angel. The BIG JUSTICE.
π₯¦ Satyr - More commonly, Izuku is often depicted as a headstrong goat and has a ram as a spirit animal. So this one would make sense as heβs naturally just like one.
π₯¦ Lightweaver - He is often Good/Light aspected so this would probably suit him well to be able to manipulate light. It would also be interesting to play with overusing his power and getting sick for it. I think it's a nice aesthetic for him too.
π₯¦ Runecaster - Izuku is often using his own body to his own detriment to win fights and save people so the fact that they draw on their own bodies intrigues me. This seems like a pretty interesting mage vibe that I like for Izuku too. He would be obsessed with learning all the runes perfectly.

Basically I think because they share some core things in common, and since they have similarish easygoing attitudes, they could get along well and Choi could find himself really endeared to this kid. He'd make a good agent you know!! He's also a lycan (cat breed) so that could add something fun depending on which one you might pick ποΈ

That sounds like fantastic potential for CR, and it would really help him to have someone that he can learn from about this place, so that's even better. Once he hears about Choi's job he'll think he would make a good agent too. I mean, he's already sort of a time detective SO WHY NOT
