strange things happen in the night. maybe you drink, or dream, or get high as a kite, and it's hard to hide it! especially when we're all collectively connected in a way! the rules are quite simple! you may even know them by now.

Only when I'm having a fabulous time, otherwise, I'm just snoring. You loud in bed?

Not really, at least not loud enough to alert the neighborhood. There are some things I prefer to be kept between just my partner and I. [ including her vocalisations.

not to mention the idea of people being able to hear her makes her want to crawl into a hole and die, ok ]

I appreciate that, and I agree. Unless it's full public displays, it is generally just between you and your partner.

Favourite physical affection gesture with a partner?

[ hm. the murmur connection picked up how pleased she was that he agreed. she didn't mind if others were loud, but it wasn't her particular cup of tea—unless it's her partner and she's pulling those sounds out. ]

I don't know if I have a favorite; I just like touch period. It's not a connection I had much of before I came here, I mean, except with my adoptive dad, but that's hardly the same thing.

It sounds like this place is allowing you to take advantage of something previously denied. That's important. I've had the benefit where friends and lovers allow me to be physically affectionate with them. You developing that too?

Cuddling, usually, though second ranked would be just simply having an arm around someone.

So far, yeah. I've been lucky in that regard. Didn't really expect some of the complication that comes with things like that, though.

Complications in the juggling of multiple people? If so, I have been there.

What can I say? I'm a cute guy sometimes. I encourage you to enjoy yourself and explore what you like.

Not the juggling, haven't really gotten intimate with more than one person, but more the... emotional aspect, I guess? I dunno. I'm figuring it out as I go.

Ah, so you have a one special person. Me too. If you aren't used to forming plenty of emotional attachments, it's a big change, yeah? This whole tether system complicates basic friendships I'm finding.

Just don't lose the plot in the process. Sleep may want all fun, limited logical thought.

Big change feels like an understatement. And, honestly, without the tethering, I probably wouldn't trust anyone as I do now. It's easier to tell when someone really cares.

Trust me, it's kind of hard to lose the plot in a place like this. Hell, I wouldn't even if I could. [ her main goal here is to kill Sleep ]

Yeah, it seems like it very much allows feelings to be known and blossom easier. You know you have quite a few people that care about you, yes?

I'm still trying to figure out why we're here, but otherwise, just exploring.

Yeah, and I'm still not used to it. Don't get me wrong, I like it. It's just surprising. I keep wanting to ask what they see, and then... I don't know, you ever feel like an imposter?

You're here because Sleep is lonely and selfish. But you can ask her yourself if you really want to know.

Believing in yourself and your value is the hardest life lesson one can learn. It's understanding the good and the bad of what you're capable of. And no, I don't feel like an imposter. I understand people like me for me, and I accept it. They'll hate me if they hate me.

She has an extravagant way of trying to make friends. Seems to fall flat.
