Pardon my ignorance, but is that uncommon for...computers? All I know about that sort of technology, I learned here in Manhattan.

[ And he smiles, bright and friendly. ]

It is just a little unusual, but I don't think it's all that strange.

[ A beat. ] I've lived quite an ordinary life, but know extraordinary people. That's all.

She graciously returns his personal space to him. Mostly.] That's a matter of perspective, isn't it? What's ordinary for you might not be for me.

But what kind of world did you come from?

How are we defining "world," here? Literally, as in the entirety of my universe? My plane? Or do you mean more of a personal world, like the place I grew up?
