Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. - EVENT/TDM: December 1stAn opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Brief Info: the creature (he doesn't have a name, but fear not we're going to give him one) is victor frankenstein's humunculous of body parts strung together of a science project to try and cheat death. he's had to learn the ways of the world much like a toddler from learning what water and light to speaking and so on . . . sadly he's been through abuse at the hand of his creator and more, treated inhumanely on more than one occasion for what he is and being cursed with immortalityโ but he is the epitome of gentle giant, makes friends with rats and feeds deer. DISNEY PRINCESS LEVELS OF KINDNESS but he will fuck shit up if angry.... creature truly just wishes to belong, have friends, be on the receiving end of affection etc. he hasn't had much luck keeping his friends and that's not even his fault, so in this setting where connections are important, i feel like he's going to thrive and just. find his people. i'm going to cry.
i am not set on a canon point yet so i may leave that up in the air on the tdm, but i'm in between the end of the movie or after his little spirit of the forest arc. or maybe even somewhere in the middle of that and end movie, idk. some help with that would be nice!
Vessel Type & General ideas: i'm considering making him an offering of the satyr variety! i want my boy to be a stag. i point you toward the reasons why by watching this movie please something something symbolisms. it was the first creature he shared food and interacted with. i still need to look through some satyr lore to get a feel of what more that i want from this other than giving him antlers......
this is less of an "enable me" and more a "i am decided i just want to vibe

Their bullshit was a lot more subtle but he would sympathize so hard with someone just plastered together from parts. Julian at least got to come out looking pretty but his self-worth has the scars all over it from his mad sciencing. And the creature not just getting the nurturing education he deserved would be aaaah
As a doctor, he'd also be horrified. He's done some dubiously ethical shit but he definitely aims for helping his patients as much as he can. He'd absolutely realize he needs help with his growth and be passing him any books he can scavenge and trying to teach him things.
