Welcome to Somnia's third ATP & EMP Meme! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- EVENT/TDM: December 1st
- RESERVES: December 12th
- APPS: December 19th - 25th

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Current players may extend their invites, and if you don't know anyone in the game, the mod will make a decision (note that this does not guarantee an invite). Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either— only to reserve and app.

Name: Nautika Amundsen
Canon: Reverse: 1999
Brief Info: Nautika is your nineteen year old, spirited explorer who was inspired by her late grandfather's stories and experiences to follow in his footsteps. Upon his return from Antartica, his change of heart led him to plead for Nautika to stay away from there and to not pursue the unknown—proof of the Mother Spirit's existence. However, she felt like they were so close that her curiosity eventually led her to Antarctica herself. There she had a no good very bad time, but ended up meeting the Mother Spirit and got an awesome chimera form after being reborn in hell sludge.

Fun fact: the lower half of her body was digested as she went through some mental trauma, but happens to all girls her age, dwbi.

Nautika has a few charm points but ever since her expedition went very very badly, one that stands out is the price she's paid in terms of her mental stability. Not only does she carry a lot of guilt over the deaths of the friends and family she lost on the expedition, which might make her pull away from people at first, but she'll be entirely skittish and impulsive in a new setting. Fear of death has ingrained itself so deeply into her that she's just as scared that people and her surroundings might hurt her as she is scared that she might cause harm to them. That said, she's still a researcher and explorer. Throwing herself into the mysteries of the setting would suit her great!

Vessel Type & General ideas: Bloodwright would be the obvious answer because canonly the less HP you have, the stronger Nautika makes the team, but I'll go Necromancer since I'm taking her right from where she died. Having been the reason why her entire team died and ate human bodies in the form of algae, I don't think Necromancer is too far from the horrors that she experienced! Also with her experience communicating with spirits and animals, she'd be more tapped in relying on them than actual people so she'd probably feel comfortable knowing she has some connection with them.

Yess!! I was like it fits her whole theme story wise where Bloodwright would be very R:1999 mechanic so I was like I'll swing it a little to the left this time since I'm going to bring her in as a human. This time we can make a spirit her New ear worm.

I agree. I think that's a pretty good swing. I like it a lot. We can. I really am quite fond of her. She's very sweet and wish her the best. She won't get the best. She'll get like moderately okay times, but I feel even that is a step up from Antarctica...

Charon's entire thing was soooooo goooooooddddd I was like there's no way they're doing this to me, and his whole design is chef's kiss so I get it and if you do... lmk I would love to play against him and your Pavia! It's rare to see other people who know or even play from the series, I have a few other characters in my back pocket as well.

She'll need a little guidance since this place is also the #horrors and she doesn't do too good with that. She's always jumping into things for answers and then somehow manages to have a breakdown after, rinse and repeat and you'd think she would learn by now. As long as she doesn't have to eat people as an unknown substance which she can! It's not off the table when she's hungry, but you know....

RIGHT? I really have been enjoying this new chapter a lot. I do think Sentinel is the stand-out of the chapter but Charon's whole thing is just like *mwah!* for sure. I'd love to. (me whispering: when will pavia show up in the main story sob) What other characters do ya got in the back pocket?

Hello, I'm Myco and I go here. I've been enjoying their Pocky misunderstandings on bakerstreet and was actually really excited when you tagged me because I am also a big R:1999 stan (I have a Shamane that I bring out every so often but his voice is not so consistent to me.)

Nautika would be simultaneously great and awful here and I encourage it. Theseus is...mostly the same but with some more trauma! I'll definitely tag into anything you put up for the TDM.

OH WOW! HI what a surprise!!!! It's nice to see you again!!!! I didn't even realize what a small world and how fated everything is. Shamane is so rare to see I'm like wait... Now I'm wondering if we've crossed paths before because I do be playing some R:1999s... if so (hello again!!!!!!!!!!!)

Can we do trauma together, I think that would be lovely of us!! She will be so stressed out and breaking down all the time, she can make him look normal (maybe) and yes! I'm excited for us to have Two Tags at the same time.

^ words that probably play on loop in her head that encourages her guilt. but yesss, she believes in the mother spirit, a deity of guidance, so i think she would be more for the ghosts than the people. the unknown has always called to her and if the ghosts trick her then she's going to get tricked!! (they did that to her once... twice...)... the deer spirit was nice to her do you see how these spirits and animals are so much nicer!! put on some fake animal ears so you can be her supporter!!

this made me crack up so bad, it's a very fun game (which also plays itself once you unlock it) but with true dedication you can make it to the nautika chapter (there's even more crazy shit i promise you)!! if you ever need any help points at your eyes points at mine im here to give pointers
