There's a colony of two-headed, four-tailed cats on the Upper East Side. They congregate around a Thai restaurant. I try to avoid them; they do not look friendly. [ so a terrible choice for a cat cafe but... maybe ranni can warm their Host hearts with catnip and toys. ]

Not a damn thing, but I'm good at cleaning, and I can figure anything out with a book and some time. I'm sure there's a Construction For Dummies somewhere in this city. Is the cafe in that bad of shape?

Indeed I do prefer arcane arts, but a backup blade never goes amiss. A greatsword is a fine option, but this world trends more toward projectile weapons. The only blades to be found are in museums, rusted. A greatsword may be beyond mine ability to find.

Hmm. You would want weapons for ranged and close combat, as well as defense. Perhaps a shield, a crossbow, and two spears? Though I would be concerned about them all getting tangled up.

'twould be a difficult task, as I have none to speak of. One begins to desire to graft some additional limbs to this body of mine; for reloading crossbows, and for other similar tasks.
I wouldn't choose two shields. If you have to divide your attention to protect both sides your more likely to leave yourself open to attacks on both. Instead maybe two crossbows and a sword and shield combination for a more coordinated attack. You could even lose one crossbow and choose a great sword for more power that you would usually sacrifice by wielding a sword with a shield.
