  Behold, an opportunity to gather.

Welcome to Somnia's first EMP! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- TDM: June 7th
- RESERVES: June 21st
- APPS: June 22nd - 26th
- GAME START: July 1st

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either (only to reserve and app). Mod-run invites will also be available then, so I thank you kindly for your patience!

Alright, just wanted to check! I hope you enjoy. I'm a fan of tactical RPGs myself (FFT rerelease GET HYPE). I'm definitely going to do a second play through; I want to use the French language track. My reading French is good enough that with captions I can keep up, and I know there'll be extra stuff to chew on. (Although I can't listen to French at all, which makes the soundtrack hilarious. A lot of *random ethereal singing random ethereal singing* random words and/or phrase I can understand *random ethereal singing*.)

I love me some Sciel but those reasons are why she would be hard to play in a game setting, I think. She'd be so pissed. And have like...zero interest in the people around her, honestly. Valid, but alas. Whereas Linhardt is more like Lune in that he can roll with it and get into some really interesting situations depending on the way things develop.

Be careful if you look up the lyrics like I did (I waited til Act 3 but I looked up a specific song from a fight in early Act 2 and was like OH HI SPOILERS/CONTEXT), but that still sounds like fun to catch variance in words and phrasing... I would be super interested in seeing what you gleam from it.

But I'm excited for the TDM and to see how things roll out!

Oh, man, that's good to know. The record names were already giving Context. I do look forward to playing in French: The names are already all very on the nose so I want to see what else is Like That/Full of Puns, and while a lot will go over my head, I'm curious about things like pronoun usage. (Like, does Lune 'vous' everyone she peppers with questions? Or does she dispense of formality altogether? Etc.) I'm a Retired Language Nerd...
