Welcome to Somnia's first EMP! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- TDM: June 7th
- RESERVES: June 21st
- APPS: June 22nd - 26th
- GAME START: July 1st

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either (only to reserve and app). Mod-run invites will also be available then, so I thank you kindly for your patience!

Name: Alexandrina Vina Victoria, better known by her middle name or RI callsign "Siege"
Canon: Arknights

Blurp: hailing from the AK version of the British Empire, Vina is actually the heir to the throne, though she really became disenchanted with the monarchy considering it had really done nothing to elevate her life - what with having to flee the capitol to keep from getting killed and growing up among the common folk and all. So she had a firsthand view of how things really were for those not in the nobility while living in exile in the slums.

She ends up taking charge of a small gang after beating up their previous leader Hannah, alias Indra (who becomes her second-in-command after the fact), reunites with one of the daughters of the knights that were tasked with protecting the royal family, and while she does help in driving out several factions that were vying for the throne, she instead ends up giving sovereignty to the people, becoming a Lord Protector and Speaker for Parliament rather than a monarch.

All this to say that while she is a natural leader and has what could be considered a "noble heart", she maybe seems a little lazy about things at the same time, tending to keep her distance from people. It's fine. All fine.

Vessel Type & General ideas: I mean. She's already got a head start on being a Kimera, on the Offering side. Otherwise Lightweaver or Beastkin could work on the Token side. We'll see!

Blurp: tl;dr a magical assassin that finds out he's actually nephilim, Nic is a good kid with a strong moral compass - he just ends up getting into shit without really trying beyond work. It could be either because of his angelic heritage or just because of his line of work. Probably both, tbh.
Vessel Type & General ideas: Like Vina, I can see him working with either Token or Offering options.

Seraph would just amplify the angelic heritage-type things, much to his annoyance (lying is unfortunately part and parcel of his life in general, so being forced to be truthful will in fact be a Big Problem)

or

Artificer leans nicely into his favored strengths as a mage (magically imbuing his bullets or other weapons with magical properties, reinforcing armor, etc)
