  Behold, an opportunity to gather.

Welcome to Somnia's first EMP! This is the place to be if you're interested in the game's setting, if you're unsure about who you'd like to bring or if you just want to check out the vibes. Remember that the EMP is open to all, and you don't need an invite to participate in the slightest!

Dates to note are as follows:

- TDM: June 7th
- RESERVES: June 21st
- APPS: June 22nd - 26th
- GAME START: July 1st

An opportunity for players who do not have invites to post their interest in receiving one will be available on the TDM as a mod comment to reply to. Just like our EMP, you do not need an invite to participate in the TDM, either (only to reserve and app). Mod-run invites will also be available then, so I thank you kindly for your patience!

Canon: Invincible
Blurp: Rex is a government created and raised superhero. His hero moniker is Rex Splode because he is a Gambit rip-off he has implants that can make objects he touches explode. He's vivacious, brave, a little spitfire and has had a fully realised redemption arc. He's very passionate about being a hero and taking action. Big "stray dog with a lot of love to give needs forever home" vibes.
Vessel Type & General ideas:
Pyromancer feels obvious for him since, splode. Trickster is tempting because he's a cheeky boy.

NGL it's still fantastic to see someone playing Rex. Would be fantastic to give him more of a chance! Trickster would seem like such a fun choice to do with him! Feels like there could be some fun things to play with that

I feel like Crichton and Rex's banter would be great and John would be kind of jazzed and surprised to meet a superhero even if it's one he doesn't recognize. But also he's a caring guy who's very open to befriending strays.

It'd definitely be a meeting of the big mouths.

I LOVE FARSCAPE I would love to see how Rex bounces off John. He needs befriending by a cool space guy so bad.
